Meet Dave — Outdoor More to Explore

In 2017, my wife Angie and I traded traditional jobs and a house full of belongings for life on the road. We wanted more time outdoors, more adventures, and more time together. An RV gave us a way to make that happen.

Together, we explored scenic highways, national parks, small towns, and places worth taking the long way to reach. In early 2024, Angie passed away after her battle with cancer. Our years of traveling together remain an important part of my story. Today, I continue living full-time in my RV, exploring and sharing what I learn along the way.

Outdoor More to Explore is where I bring those experiences together—from whitewater paddling and hiking to campground stays and the everyday realities of RV living. You’ll find practical travel tips, planning resources, and honest stories about both the freedom and the challenges of life on the road.

RV life isn’t always a postcard. Things break, weather changes, and sometimes the best travel plan needs a little roadside revision. But quiet mornings at camp, beautiful rivers, and unexpected discoveries keep me looking forward to the next stop.

Whether you’re considering full-time RV living or simply planning your next weekend outdoors, I hope you’ll find something here that helps you get out and explore.

Come along for the journey. There’s always more to explore.
