For years, my Wife and I lived the way most people do: busy jobs, a house full of things, and adventures squeezed into a week or two each year. We loved the outdoors, but we only ever got to visit it. One day we realized we were spending our best years waiting for the weekend. So, we made a change. We left our traditional jobs, sold or gave away most of what we owned, and moved into an RV. It wasn’t about escaping. It was about choosing more: more time outside, more time exploring, and more time with the people we love.
Life on the road isn’t always postcard perfect. Flat tires, full tanks, closed campgrounds, and the occasional wrong turn down a road no RV should ever see. But there are also mornings on quiet rivers, sunsets from ridgelines, and small-town diners I’d never have found any other way. I share all of it, the highlights and the hard lessons, because both are part of the story.
“Back in 2017, my wife Angie and I hit the road in our 2014 Tiffin Phaeton 40 AH and explored over 40 states and many Canadian provinces.”
